Avery Universal Package Tracker and Avery Labels

The Avery Universal Package tracker is a free tool to help small businesses track their packages from multiple carriers. It automatically detects one of the four carriers that you are using - USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL. You can track your packages in a dashboard view and easily monitor the status. You can see the details and view a map of where your package has been. Avery Labels come in a variety of formats to help make your mailings simple. Avery 5160 is the most popular label.

FedEx Desktop Package Tracker Review

FedEx has a neat little desktop application called the FedEx Desktop package tracker application which allows you to track multiple tracking numbers (FedEx only of course). I downloaded this app back in Oct 2008. They recently upgraded their app and I used the new version for 2 months and decided it wasn't for me.

The pros:

Status indicator icons are nifty

Easy to use

Automatic updates

The cons:

The app runs in your system start up tray which may slow down your system during start up

Limited to tracking FedEx only

Works on PC only
